11/2/25 Sunday Mid w/Raymond

Notes about the shift in general:  When I arrived the dumpster was closed and locked. When I entered I checked on the on hand supply. We will not receive a BEK truck tomorrow due to their system upgrade. The next truck will be Tuesday.  I picked up milk and 6in1 tomato sauce to get us to the Tuesday truck. I entered the PFG and Sofo truck orders. I was able to negotiate  a price match on Trump Flour between Sofo's price and PFG. That price match should be seen on the next Food Cost Report. The shift was very steady with a nice crowd on the patio.

There were guests on the patio with children that wanted to play with a pet German Shepherd. I thought the dog handler and the family with the children were together. I noticed how rough the children were playing with the Shepherd. I then noticed that the dog displayed stressed behaviors. A little while into it, the dog nipped the little boy in the face. The child did not appear to be hurt. It was an avoidable situation if either the handler of the child's parent intervened and controlled the children's interaction with the pet. The parent and the handler left on good terms and with a lesson learned.  Breaks started at 6:30 p.m. and ended at 8:15 p.m. All BOH team members were able to take breaks.
