4/8/26 Wednesday Mid w/Raymond

Notes about the shift in general: When I arrived, the dumpster was closed but not locked. I walked the store and checked supplies. I entered the truck order for PFG, with one item now filled. They are currently out of Rice Krispies Cereal, but they will have it back in stock on the 14th. The vendor installed the tow signs in the parking lot.

I worked on outstanding credits with PFG. I went over the correct way to clean the food slicer with Meredith and I will cover this with the K-Mods. Will and I went over the Art Car show checklist. Charles informed me that the toaster oven for the event is on its way down and that we will receive two more toaster ovens on the day of the event. Sales this week have been promising and we are on track for a 72K plus week.

Will and I interviewed an applicant named Noe Tiu and extended an offer. Noe is a friend of our team member Juan Pu. I will set Noe up for orientation as soon as possible. 

The shift started off slow and then picked up 6:30 p.m. Breaks started at 6:30 p.m. and ended at 8:30 p.m. All BOH team members were able to take breaks.

Meredith expressed a concern with her ex-boyfriend being on the premises. I communicated with Cynthia and she's aware of the situation. We will be on the lookout for his presence. Meredith is in the process of filing a restraining order against Kevin.

6. How did you show love? I gave the team a verbal high for keeping up with the pop. 

Notes for FOH: Slices were moving quickly and there was good communication between the BOH and FOH. I spoke with Josh regarding guest concern on not receiving her whole order at the same time. There were a number of things that went wrong, but the primary cause was the communication between Expo and the sub/salad station. After speaking with Erica she explained that the order was not checked in. That was another contributing factor in delaying the order from going out. The FOH will go over this during pre-shift. It comes down to communication.
