Notes about the shift in general:

 starting my shift upon entering the restaurant everything was in place the only thing the machine where the tickets come out yesterday was not working at the end and they left a paper there to let me know I was already checking what I had so the best thing I did was turn everything off and then turn it on from there it started working then I started making the preparation list when I finished I counted the dough since Pedro called me that there was a lot of traffic and that it took a while when he arrived we started to fill in the line then at about 10 we started the pizzas and at 11 we had a lot more tickets in front and in the salad while we were also finishing the preparation and when Wendy arrived she was in the salad to learn more and I took advantage of starting the break and we managed to finish around two Leo went to finish all the preparation and also help Jose while Wendy stayed at the salad station and at about 2:30 it got pretty slow we took advantage of filling everything in front and since Evan comes in at three so I leave an hour early since he was A little slow so I finished my shift for today

A pretty great day with quite a few pizzas and sandwiches but the whole team worked pretty well and could handle everything.

Notes about the shift in general:  When I arrived, the dumpster was closed and locked. I stopped to pick up tomatoes due to the sharp increase in pricing. I walked the store and checked supplies before placing the BEK truck order for tomorrow. I called Republic again regarding their not picking up recycling. I was informed that one of their drivers called off and that impacted a number of routes. They will pick up tomorrow. I called our Houston Avocado Rep and we discussed price corrections on tomatoes and when we could expect to see them. At this time they anticipate that pricing should get back to market norms in 1-2 weeks. In the meanwhile, I will continue to purchase 4X5 tomatoes from HEB at significant cost savings. The shift started slow and then picked up at 6:00 p.m. Both the Roto and Marsal lines did well during the pop.
