Notes about the shift in general:

At the start of my shift, things were going quite well—I was constantly handling orders—but then it slowed down a bit, and we spent some time on prep work. Around three o'clock, Leo and Juan left, leaving the rest of us to man the line. It was quiet as the afternoon crew came in; we started restocking pizzas for the front display, and then, around five, pizza orders picked up a bit, along with sandwich orders from the salad station. We had a good flow of business, and from six o'clock on, I started handling breaks, covering for everyone. Finally, I checked that everything was set for the night shift and wrapped up my shift.
