Notes about the shift in general:   It was a pretty slow Sunday at the start of the shift. Pedro clocked out at two and Evelin at three. We took turns handling the salad station, but since it was quiet, there were no issues; things picked up around four as tickets started coming in, and the afternoon crew arrived at five. I took advantage of the lull to go to the store and buy mayonnaise, since we had run out. We also needed Ranch, so I whipped up a batch. Later, I worked the line, helping box pizzas and assisting with the salad station. Around six, I started coordinating breaks; the whole team took theirs, and then I noticed we were running low on Rice Krispies treats, so I made another batch to have a backup ready. Notes about the shift in general:   The day got off to a pretty good start. We finished up some prep work and stocked the front line with plenty of pizzas; a lot of orders started coming in around 4:00 PM, right as the rest of the team arrived. I checked to make sure everything was set for the evening rush. Things slowed down a bit around 5:00 PM, so we took the opportunity to restock the line, but it got really busy starting at 6:00 PM. We were caught off guard by the volume across all stations—tickets were pouring in—so I went on my break, and the rest of the team took theirs as well. I helped Gabino at the oven, tidied up the vegetable walk-in cooler (disposing of some boxes), and did a final check to ensure everything was ready for the night. That’s how I wrapped up my shift. Notes about the shift in general: Steady day that started with two deferred orders hanging: one due at 10:30a, the other at 2p. Both went out on time without issue. Tablet orders and whole pies were moving all day. Slices took until 12:30p to get going, but then stayed moving for the rest of the shift. Notes about the shift in general: Now that's what I call a Thursday. First Thursday in awhile that felt like one. Slow start, but once lunch started it did not lull. Slice and sandwich heavy lunch, with more whole pie tickets than normal coming in. We started the day off with a delivery from PFG, everything checked out. We had a deferred order due at opening--8 pies, family salads, and a couple 12" subs--that went out without issue. I ordered produce and worked on next week's schedule in my down time. Ramona called out first thing this morning, she was in the hospital, hopefully she'll be back tomorrow. I covered it by taking Danilo off Saturday and putting him on tonight.
