Notes about the shift in general:   When I arrived, the dumpster was closed and locked.  I walked the perimeter and everything was in order. I walked the store and confirmed inventory . I placed the Hilltop Deli, Sofo and BEK truck orders. All invoices were scanned to Xtra Chef.  I am working on the Food Labor spreadsheet. During my Guest Connections. I worked with Keri and Lauren regarding a large order from a regular that informed us of a dairy allergen, but the whole order consisted of cheese and pepperoni pies. I call Ms. Branch and confirmed that her order was correct. She looked at the dietary requirements for the children and there was one child that could not eat dairy. She did not want to order a whole pie for one child, so I offered to add 2 vegan slices to her order at no additional cost. Notes about the shift in general: We started off the day with a PFG delivery. No issues. Coolers and dry storage were in need of some organizing, so I did that. We had one deferred order for 11:30am, the guest let Keri know she wanted the order at 11:15a, so we go it out at 11:15. Carlo called into his FOH shift this morning so I helped out by swiffering. We had three batches of bread to cook off so helping with that and cookies was my main focus. It was slow, similar to yesterday's shift, but there was a lot of prep and bread to bag. I had Leo detail the trash area out back, he did an excellent job. Gerardo needed a copy of his food handlers, so I took care of that. Notes about the shift in general: Ronaldo opened the store this morning. They had issues with roto being turned off which got straightened out quickly and they were back in business by 9:30am. Sounds like it was an issue with the failsafe on the roof. Deliveries from BEK and Houston Avocado this morning. Dina brought three cans of dented 6-in-1 to my attention, I logged them on the credit tracker. I came in at 2pm: my focus was on getting the line restocked and getting some folks off the clock as it was a slow day. Leo and Juan were sent home early. Dough team prepped 2 sub bread recipes for tomorrow. Dina baked off cheesecakes and they look amazing. Notes about the shift in general:   When I arrived, the dumpster was closed and locked. Republic did not pick up the recycling yesterday due to the closing. We have enough space in the dumpster until Friday. I walked the perimeter and everything was in order. I walked the store and confirmed inventory . I placed the PFG truck order. All invoices were scanned to Xtra Chef. The oven did not start up when we first arrived. Metter was on sight and assisted with the ovens. I had to ask a houseless visitor to leave the building. He left without incident. Ronaldo did a great job setting up the food sampling tray for Shane.  I met with Charles for a quick update on current events in the store. I am working on the Food Labor spreadsheet. During my Guest Connections I met parents with their newborn, and they were very complimentary of the slices and service. Notes about the shift in general: Mucho business today! Hit the ground running and didn't stop. Put away orders and organized areas. 2 dented cans and another case of mislabelled banana peppers were added to the tracker. Helped set up and run Marsal. Put together training platter for Shane. No deferred orders, all walk up and tablet orders. Lots of slices, all stations firing, one larger 11-pie ticket came in for 3:30pm and went out no problem. We kept Juan and Leo until 4pm as it was needed. Next shift be on the lookout for: The building to be closed. The employees to be partying.  1.How many pies did we run on the timesheet?  4 3. Notes about the shift in general:   At the start of the day, we were mostly serving pizza slices, but from 2:00 PM onwards, whole pizzas started going out in large numbers; the orders just kept coming. It got busier at 3:00 PM. Seeing how busy it was, I asked Juan if he could come in for the evening shift—since he has fewer scheduled hours—and he agreed. We did some restocking out front around 5:00 PM, even though the orders kept pouring in. When the afternoon crew arrived, I used the time to place the Houston Avocado order for Wednesday and helped the team out. The orders didn't stop; it was overwhelming around 6:00 PM. I started managing the breaks, and the whole team got theirs taken; the workload finally slowed down around 7:30 PM. We used that time to restock the front area—something we hadn't had a chance to do earlier—and I checked to make sure everything was set for the night shift. Notes about the shift in general: Standard Sunday. After setting up for the day I helped Jose knock out garlic knots. It started off slow but got progressively busier throughout the shift. Even split between walk up and to go orders. After the team was done with breaks I knocked out P9 inventory and put together some pizza kits.
